Why would JSON have been terrible? Because it's lacking namespaces and all those "quirky" things most XML implementations (and users) get wrong?

    Nah, I think he's serious. At least by other comments in similar regard ... > JSON is a verbose mess. Or did I get baited again? Calling JSON a verbose mess while comparing it to XML is pretty weird ... argh! What is real and what isn't anymore? Do we even exist?
