I was so happy with upgrading one of my app to .net 6: I saw perfs gains from 10 minutes execution time on .net 4.8 to 1'30 minutes on .net 6. Then my boss reminded me that we had new hypervisors with SSD (the old one had still spinning platters) so now I'm not so sure the .net 6 upgrade really made my app faster.
