She can talk about her personal experience all she wants, but it was a horrible article that may cause harm to people by increasing stigma in people with depression. The truth is SHE wanted to be seen as a victim of depression. It made a good story. She was sad, and that sucks, but it was not depression. If she talked about how she over came her sadness I would have not commented about the article. I would not make a comment about the suffering of someone who was raped as a 12 year old, that whole part was a logical fallacy.
