I did try to use ace-jump in [emacs](https://github.com/winterTTr/ace-jump-mode https://github.com/winterTTr/ace-jump-mode) but i don't quite get used to it, since it's limited to the current buffer as you see it, i rather use isearch directly or better ace and isearch combined https://github.com/tam17aki/ace-isearch https://github.com/tam17aki/ace-isearch
- _nalply 5y agoThe idea is, you see something and ace-jump can jump to it. It's not a search function, so it is, as you said, limited to the currently visible text.
