What product improved quality of life so much you wish you did it sooner?
- GhettoComputers 5y agoNicer condoms, I was just used to the free lifestyles, the crowns are amazing.
- timdaub 5y agoCare to give specific recommendations? I'm curious.

- _ah 5y agoHigh quality standing desk.
- newsbinator 5y agoHow does it compare in comfort to a low quality standing desk?
- GhettoComputers 5y agoThe motors make it easier to set a custom height. I just use a monitor mount instead, it’s the same thing with a stack of books or boxes. If you don’t have a good chair first though not much change.
- jason2323 5y agoWith a lower quality standing desk, you will notice issues with motor over time such as stutter or plain failure. They may also tend to wobble if you lean onto them at a height
- colinwilyb 5y agorecommendation? brand?
- _ah 5y agoI've been happy with Uplift. Everything from the packaging to the assembly instructions was on point. Expensive though.
- holonomically 5y agoInstant Pot. I bought the largest one I could find so that I could amortize my prep time. Now I mostly just put a bunch of fresh ingredients in the pot along with some grains and beans and forget about it. The end result is not as delicious as something prepared by a more competent chef but the meals usually last me an entire week so I'm pretty happy with the time saving vs flavor tradeoff.
- tra3 5y agoGood call instantpot was a game changer for me. One thing that might elevate your dishes is seasoning and fresh herbs. I didn’t realize I was under salting my stuff, and a bunch of fresh parsley or mint really makes a huge difference.
- holonomically 5y agoYup, cilantro is another good one (modulo genetic variations and soap tastes). [1] 1: https://www.thespruceeats.com/why-does-cilantro-taste-soapy-1328523 https://www.thespruceeats.com/why-does-cilantro-taste-soapy-...
- GhettoComputers 5y agoTry an induction cooker next, faster than the speed of fire (youtube it!). You can throw stuff like beef or chicken in a sous vide (instant pot might have a sous vide mode) at the beginning of the day, then just finish any you want to eat with the induction cooker and cast iron with some fresh veggies. If your taste is off, you will want to cook for a shorter time, the pressure cookers fuck up flavors and textures sometimes.
- DantesKite 5y agoFor me, it was the reverse osmosis Brondell water filter. You don’t know how much you rely on clean tasting water until it’s gone. Air Fryer is starting to come in at a close second though…
- GhettoComputers 5y agoEver wonder how to make your own? I did and its so easy and cheap, just need a few minerals, some charcoal or activated carbon, and if you have sediment in you water you'll want a filter for that too. Mine was AC filtered for clean flavor, added magnesium for health and taste, if you are DIY give it a try, experiment with the speed you want to filter water too, I think most of the time the filters are overkill. I am a fan of zero water and their impurity meters too, they are included and seems to be the best tasting of the generic water filters. If you leave filters out it also grows a weird taste unfortunately even though its not "finished", lots of little quirks with these things!
- drooby 5y agoText to speech applications. (Voice Dream Reader, NaturalReader) I may have always had mild-moderate ADD or just low reading comprehension. Not only do these applications improve my reading comprehension to (for me) super human levels.. they improve my reading stamina to super human levels. If I had used this technology in school I feel quite confident I would have gone from a B student to an A student.
- DantesKite 5y agoI use Voice Dream Reader too. It’s been astonishing watching how the voices have improved over the years. Can’t wait for the day it sounds just like a human voice. That’s gonna be a game changer.
- landemva 5y agoKomatsu imachine excavator for sticking pipe. Best product removed has been grains. Aches and pains and fat are going away!
- wreath 5y agoWhat triggered you to remove grains? What type of aches did you have that removing grains have fixed? Congratulations btw
- ozzythecat 5y agoElectric toothbrush and floss. Once you go to an electric toothbrush, you’ll never want to use a regular toothbrush again.
- nicbou 5y agoA robot vacuum. Clean floors all day every day. It's one of those chores I've always hated. Now it just does its thing twice a week when I'm away. I have a roborock S5. It requires no setup. Just press a button. Most of the clothes I buy at decathlon would also fit. They're always last minute trip purchases that I end up using every day until they fall apart. Functional clothing is much better than regular clothing. A motorcycle. I've seen over 40 countries on it. I built my life around riding it more.
