Are there any auto manufacturers that produce really good software? A few have better design, but even then the hardware is so low spec that the interfaces are laggy.
- speedgoose 5y agoThe BMW software can be a bit laggy but I personally think it's very fine to use. I'm also happy about the Tesla software. It's not as smooth as an iPad pro, it runs on a shit Intel atom, but it's very good for a car. I also heard good things about Android running on the Polestar 2 or the future Renault Mégane.
- hesdeadjim 5y agoCompared to most other car software, BMW is pretty decent. But it’s still archaic compared to a Tesla. I’m very much looking forward to being done with my X3 and moving on to a Y.
