- Zanni 5y agoI'm skeptical of that number. I drive a Tesla, and I've occasionally been inconvenienced by the phone key not working as smoothing or immediately as I'd like, but for that reason I always carry my key card in my wallet. Is it a problem that Telsa's servers went down? Yes. Is it a bigger problem than 1) running out of battery on your phone or 2) bluetooth acting up? No. Carry your key card, always.
