You still have to worry about STDs and have relationship issues. You still have to "attune" yourself to females in most fields? Casual sex is easier, but meaningful relationships (IMO as a bi man) are tougher to find. And just because you're gay doesn't mean you're out of heterosexual male status games... it's a heterosexual man's world and we're all just living in it.
