Republicans shift from positive to negative view of tech and large corporations
- camkego 5y agoThe interesting thing from a primary graph in the article, is the endpoints of difference in the perspectives on various institutions. It appears from the research, that republicans, more-so than democrats, generally believe churches have a positive impact on society. At the opposite end, is colleges, where democrats much more than republicans believe that colleges are a positive impact on society. The conclusions one can draw are interesting.
- djanogo 5y agoI couldn't find exact questions that were asked which leads me to doubting their statistics for colleges, colleges provide wide variety of education, if the participants perception of college is only applicable to non-engineering fields then I would see religious bias in their answers. If the question explicitly asks about their perception of science and engineering degrees in college I would imagine every corner of the world would vote positively.
