- h2odragon 5y agoI like to say "You never fail, you simply stop attempting to succeed," which is as valid a cat poster phrase as most of them. The point that it takes courage to admit you've failed and go on to a more likely to succeed effort is one i should recall more often. Perhaps amend the poster. Of course, some doomed efforts go beyond the pitiful, to the ludicrous, and into the beautiful, inspirational insane category; and those always need nurturing and help, because they often benefit the world. Someday I'll manage to sneak a stepladder into the giraffe pen.
