Also why is there no ipod nano/shuffle alternative? I was hoping an apple watch would do the job but you can't download music onto it.

- iCarrot 5y agoThere's a Sony Walkman model running on Android, NW-A105 I think.
- deergomoo 5y ago> but you can't download music onto it You can, via the Watch app on the iPhone, though it’s not a great experience. Choose “Music” and then you can select albums or playlists to copy to the Watch. It’s like syncing an iPod, except it’s only about a third as reliable and significantly slower.
- johnvaluk 5y agoYou can load music on an Apple Watch, but it's probably not worth the effort for most people. The only time the feature is useful is if you're nowhere near your phone.
- m_ke 5y agoYes but that's exactly why I got the watch, to be able to go on a run or to the gym without having to carry my + sized iPhone. I used to be able to clip the shuffle to my shirt and forget that it's there.
