Tesla suffers nationwide app server outage, owners can't connect to their cars
- Pr0ject217 5y agoThe app has been buggy as hell lately. :(
- somedude895 5y agoOpposite for me funnily enough. Since the facelift of the app it's been working miles better and more reliably than before.
- AnimalMuppet 5y ago"Owners can't connect to their cars". There's a headline I never expected to see...
- bellyfullofbac 5y agoOne day in the near future: "Nationwide airplane grounding because someone unpublished the isObjectEqualTo8 package on npm and this broke air traffic control towers all over the place."
- gremloni 5y agoI would not be surprised if I saw this headline today
- underscore_ku 5y agoLMAO
- mdeeks 5y agoNote the headline can be slightly misleading for those not familiar with the Tesla cars and app. This outage affects app features only, like remotely turning on your AC or popping open your front trunk. You can still walk up to your car, have it auto unlock, and start driving just like normal. All of that operates off of Bluetooth.
- haaserd 5y agoHow could anyone have seen this coming?!! LOL
- account-5 5y agoI dispare for the future when all cars, your house, etc. Are dependent on apps to do simple things, like open a door.
- dzhiurgis 5y agoThat’s so woke
