Buy a Toyota from 2000-2010. They run practically forever, they're low maintenance, and they achieve everything you're asking for here regarding modern electronics. My daily driver is a 2000 4Runner, and I love everything about it.
- pc86 5y agoBut don't buy one right now, because the market is nuts. 1-2 year old cars with 5-8k miles are selling for the same price or even more than brand new models because of a confluence of the chip shortage and CPO warranties extending the total warranty length.
- joeyh 5y agoI have an 19 year old one, and my mechanic offered to buy it yesterday (after fixing a suspension torn up by essentially offroading in it, third repair it's ever needed in 180k miles), because he needed a car with good gas mileage.
