People are so confused about FSD beta. Tesla should come up with another term for their current efforts, but not because they have done anything wrong, but just because people are so dense. A good model to follow here would be the naming of the National Ignition Facility. There’s no doubt a reason why they didn’t call it the National Sustained Fusion Facility. (I’m not here to debate that reason though, I’m just using it as an example.) Because, if they did, idiots at CNN and the like would be writing headlines like “We went to Livermore to see the ‘Sustained Fusion’ at the National Sustained Fusion Facility.” Not to mention what Congress would think.
