I'm not entirely sure I agree with you. Just because something gives people purpose doesn't mean it's positive... You can be excited, hopeful and positive about something that provides very little value.
- cl42 5y agoI don't think any of us can say whether any technology or product is inherently good, but if millions of people are using it, are happy doing so, and they say it's good for them, then that sounds pretty nice to me. I've heard similar arguments about movies and video games in the past, and it's never that clear cut.
