While I think the idea of visualizations of global scale number is good this seems to bring with it a political agenda. It would be improved if I could see multiple viewpoints and those agendas were made fully transparent. I also think some ratios/comparisons could be interesting. The rate of births to deaths would be interesting to see with the numbers ticking along. While I can see the population ticking up I never realized there were 67k more people born every day than die.
