I have used LibreOffice, and it makes me cringe. Has it vastly improved the UI in the last three years? That was the last time I installed it, tried using it for three weeks, then uninstalled it. It was like a bad acid trip version of the 1990s.

Have you tried one of the other included UI variants, or did you stick to the default one?
