So it's laws/rules causing this. The U.S. government lifted truck driving restrictions, I would bet they do something similar when it comes to food processing plants. For what it's worth (not saying the above as a way of sticking my head in the sand), I do keep a personal supply of food because I believe people should "Be Prepared". Prepare for the worst, hope for the best.
