ICEs in cars hurt local air quality and cause significant noise pollution. Even if you eliminate the fossil fuel aspect, it's still worth switching to EVs. Aeroplanes have no viable alternative right now, and the noise/particulates issue aren't as big of a problem unless you live near an airport.
