> 12" AOC monochrome VGA monitor That brings a huge grin to my face. I had one of those, precisely of that vintage, which was my first VGA monitor of any type. The only thing different would be that it was 120V/60 Hz. It lingered on as a console monitor for many years, and still worked when I finally took it to the recycler a few years ago. In its final years, it didn't get along with some graphics cards or BIOSes since it was purely 640x480 VGA and nothing else, and DDC didn't exist when it was built.
