Regardless of whether the internet broke brand loyalty, do brands think they’ll earn it back by surveilling our every move online?
- noduerme 5y agoI just got a new mac and it came with a fingerprint sensor and asked me to fingerprint myself the minute I opened it. They can always keep shaking down teenagers for money by hyping a new thing, but they have to keep dumbing down teenagers for it to keep working. Ultimately people won't be smart enough to earn enough to buy the shit they sell, but then again, selling objects isn't really the end goal.
- simonblack 5y agoPay walled unfortunately. I have an icon for https://archive.md/ https://archive.md/ on my bookmarks bar. When I go to a website that is paywalled, I copy the URL with the mouse, click on the Archive icon on my Bookmarks bar to open the Archive website, and paste the paywalled URL into the textfield that says "I want to search the archive for saved snapshots" (It's a lot quicker to do than to read my 'howto')
