Is the Brain a Quantum Computer?
- ohiovr 5y agoThere are a lot of stories about people explaining visions they received while brain dead or in hypothermia and were revived to tell the tale. In my crude estimation the brain is more like an antenna listening to a far larger realm. I've never seen anyone crack an RSA key with their minds but people do fantastically complex tasks all the time without conscious effort. I don't really see how a quantum computer would make self driving car software more effective than what we have now. If we have to compare brains to computers it definitely has an edge for multi threaded background problems over single conscious tasks.
