Can a title still be click-bait if it is ineffective?
Given the author had already written the piece, and they want to concoct a title to "get clicks and disregard accuracy" - this title might be the most effective
- bryanrasmussen 5y agowell let's say I want to write a click-baity title and after thinking about it long and hard I hit on "I am super boring", as it happens this title turns out to be extremely ineffective as click-bait. My contention is that the intention to click-bait is not sufficient, but that a threshold of capability to match the intention must be reached.
