Indeed. I've used it on my Olympus gear (Fuji X sytem also has it, btw) and it's very helpful when, e.g. you know that bird is going to take off at some point but not exactly when. Given how simple it is (a ring buffer for images captured using an electronic shutter mode basically) it's surprising that every camera with a decent e-shutter implementation doesn't have this.
