Good Lord, that's hideous. It's like they've somehow managed to make Corporate Memphis even uglier, as difficult as that might be to believe. That sound you hear off in the distance is Jony Ive, screaming. :-)

Where i come from it's referred to as the "Globohomo" art style and god do I hate it with a passion. I will admit the iteration in this specific article isn't too bad but the style overall just seems tasteless and attempts to be so unoffensive that it ends up being offensive in a different way. I'll stop ranting about it now.
