That's sounds very much like the giv man a fish, he eats for a day, teach a man to fish he eats for life... It sounded like musk was thinking the second, not the first...
- Tomte 5y ago"Tackle", not "solve". If you're thinking about earlier reporting that wrote about "solving", that was a mistake. The UN never claimed that a one time donation could eradicate hunger once and for all. It was just an overeager headline by CNN, that Elon Musk read and took for real.

World hunger is caused by innumerable systemic problems - but definitely not because the hungry person “doesn’t know how to fish”.
