One thing I have wondered is - when the building sank 18 inches, did they have to add a step down at the entrance?
- changoplatanero 5y agoYes this would be interesting to know. Maybe when the building sinks the sidewalk sinks as well?

- sumukh1 5y agoI lived in the building for a while and there is a bit of subtle ramp into the building but it's not quite a 1.5 foot drop because the direction (Try looking at Google Street View from before 2020 at 350 Mission St and 399 Mission St)
- rendall 5y agoHow was it? Did you like it there? It strikes me as soulless.
- redis_mlc 5y agoIn various places in SF, the sidewalks "float" without a foundation, like the adjacent buildings, and are redone every so many years as gaps appear in the heights between sidewalks and buildings. That's considered normal. Don't know if that's a normal thing near the MT.
