Aren't ads opt in?
- ozten 5y agoThis is a "push notification" style in-app message that I am calling an "Ad". I don't know what the correct terminology is within Brave's chrome.
- 5560675260 5y agoYeah, those are opt in. Go to settings - "Brave Rewards" to disable ads in push notifications.
- nieve 5y agoIf the person you're replying to didn't turn it on and it's on, it's not opt-in. That's opt-out.
- 5560675260 5y agoMy assumption is that OP turned it on, but forgot about doing it at some point. This feature in Brave is advertised as opt-in and it was off by default for me each time I've installed this browser.
