  Some people prefer a filtered experience. A completely open store invites bad actors to do as they wish without penalty

    The ultimate filter is: do not visit the website. It comes down to the cost of having the freedom to do the filtering yourself vs. outsourcing that effort to a company sharing (some of) your values. The latter locks you in since you are in no position to change the company's mind.
