In the EU you don't need to share your password
- t-3 5y agoDoes anywhere require you to share your password? That just seems... idiotic and contrary to all sense. I've certainly never had to, in fact my bank (like every other password-protected site) warns not to share passwords with anyone.
- jake_the_human 5y agoYeah Plaid takes your password and stores it in plain text :|

- dbbk 5y agoThat was how apps worked before Open Banking mandated API access, they would basically store your password and scrape your bank's web UI.
- JohnFen 5y agoI'm in the US and have never needed to share a password.
- konschubert 5y agoIt seems you are not yet familiar with the insanity of "Sofortüberweisung"...
