I always liked the concept of an SOP and to be honest. The structured reporting system that's used on the military should be more widely used. People rely way too much on improvising when communicating, specially in high stress environments

If that was possible at your average startup helpdesk then there would be no need to hire helpdesk in the first place. What works in the military isn’t always applicable to the civilian world.
- wikidani 5y agoOh, of course. I meant that in case of a server going down in an app where downtime is a crucial requirement might be useful to have some sort of structured report so that the most useful stuff is transmitted in a reliable manner
