At what stage would this become a chain-reaction event, causing major satellite issues?
- immmmmm 5y agocannot find the link but remember a NASA official saying the Kessler syndrome was already happening, which is not surprising since you only need that the rate of replenishing an orbit is higher than cleaning by atmospheric drag to get something that evolve in an exponential manner
