The competitive advantage of a good API must wear of at some point because Facebook's API is borderline useless at this point.
I totally agree that Twitter trying to monetize their API was a bad idea though.
- paxys 5y agoThink of companies like Zynga who built multi-billion dollar businesses solely on the back of Facebook. Something like that has always been impossible with Twitter.
