Reptyr: Reparent a running program to a new terminal
- rektide 5y agoHaven't had success using this where I want to, with vim & others. I've been using dtach, which requires starting a program with dtach. But it's a very nice way to be able to run programs persistently & re-attach them latter. I've been able to stop using tmux & do most of my work from inside vim sessions, doing all my multiplexing & terminal sessions in vim, rather than needing to have tmux running vim.
