I can't edit this post, but I just want to add that I feel incredible lucky that I was able to work from my child's bedside at all. We met many other parents in the ICU who worked jobs that weren't remote, crane operators, waste management professionals, mill workers, etc. I imagine they share the same sentiment as me.
