Is it? Is there a good community alternative to Whatsapp and Facebook that is also used by people other than terrorists and right wing activists (joke)?
Last time I tried to switch to an alternative, I ended up with my messaging spread out to many apps. So I ended up going back to the common denominator: Whatsapp
- lanevorockz 5y agoI don't want to be pedantic here but Facebook was the replacement for Google's Orkut. Orkut started messing up and they lost their leadership position almost overnight.
- andrepd 5y agoI message almost everyone I know on Signal. I have WhatsApp installed (no permissions) for when I need to contact someone who doesn't have it.
