Hypocrisy? Perhaps but everyone has their best interests. I know progressive people who are very particular about choosing a school for their kids. Not too many immigrants or students from "complex" backgrounds. Everyone wants an inclusive society but nobody wants their child to suffer from it in a world where education is a life or death situation.
