From your other comments you yourself admit that this is a fringe opinion, and I respect that a lot. I think one thing that would help strengthen your stance would be a plausible explanation for why people seem to actually like React and friends so much. Maybe your experience is different, but I'm often seeing people want to use React or Vue and lament the times they're stuck with JQuery or something more "old-school".
