I recently turned down a FB recruiter on the spot without even finding out more about the job in question, telling them I just don’t like FB as a company. I’m lucky to have been around long enough, to be able to pick companies for my own reasons. Society isn’t set up to give most people that kind of choice; FB will therefore never really have any trouble finding people, I’m afraid. I would love to think that they take notes when receiving negative feedback from recruitment, using it as a clue to work on fixing a broken image problem. In reality, I think they just move on to the next person who will happily put up with them.
