Mhm... my suggestions:
A) Let the user find out the correct orientation.
B1) Make the snapping happen only on click/touch release.
B2) Make the snapping happen over a longer distance.
- foxylad 5y agoYeah, only snapping on release would prevent random snaps when dragging, which happened to me a couple of times.
- snake_case 5y agoGood suggestions! I’m not sure why I hadn’t thought of that, but snapping on drop does sound like a better experience.
