Was the Roswell Incident a cipher mystery?
- h2odragon 5y ago> what is so scary about the evidence that not one photographic image of this writing has seen the light of day in more than seventy years? (Assuming there was anything to take a picture of to begin with:) At this point in time, how would we authenticate such an image if it did appear? I think the US Government could open a museum display of recovered artifacts and even have things inexplicable and test-able and it would still be reasonable to doubt anything they had to say of its provenance.
- LinuxBender 5y agoI have my own hair-brained theory. The Roswell incident was one of many after WWII and during the cold war. If enemies of the U.S. suspect that the U.S. has access to advanced alien technology that may be one of many psychological deterrents to hostile activity. Theoretical aliens may have theoretical weapons and theoretical armor that render all modern weapons inferior.
- haspoken 5y agoConversely, enemies could have staged the event.
