It's almost as if the governments of the world had no power to actually stop this and they just utilized it as a major power grab.
- Arnt 5y agoThe country where I was born and the one where I currently live both share this story: National restrictions were introduced, then vaccines, and this autumn the restrictions were lifted. Some regional/local restrictions apply in the worst-hit areas in one case, more in the other. Viewed as a power grab they don't seem too impressive. But maybe you have some better examples. Or maybe you don't and it's "almost as if" instead of actually.
- MeinBlutIstBlau 5y agoSevere inflation and enabling the "mask/vax police" populace are things governments do to control people further. Rich people like inflation cause theyre fine. They hate deflation cause then they lose money. And enabling a populace of people just as ignorant as anti vaxxers to police people on how they act is essentially allowing culturally accepted witch hunts.
