"For young children, Covid looks like a normal flu, if not a mild one: <US hospitalization rate for 0-4 yo olds chart, covid lower than flu for 9 out of 10 past years>". This is new data. Hopefully in a year or two our media will finally muster the inquisitive spirit to research such data for other age groups. Who knows, maybe we'll learn that covid is like a (mild) flu for most age groups, except past retirement age...
- spurgu 5y agoYeah, this has been apparent from the beginning (summer of 2020). puts on tinfoil hat Maybe the overall reaction to Covid was exacerbated by the fact that Trump downplayed it, so everyone felt like exaggerating it to oppose the viewpoint? I know I did.
