Since it’s about density of ion channels, surely you’d want to check brain samples from animals with brains larger than humans’ to compare?
- Causality1 5y agoThis is a good point. There are several other metrics by which larger-massed animals are more efficient than smaller ones, such as oxygen usage per kg of body mass. Perhaps a similar effect is applicable to brains?
