Most (or all?) EU citizen have state issued IDs that are basically mandatory for every single citizen. UK doesn’t have a mandatory ID.

Most (or all?) EU citizen have state issued IDs that are basically mandatory for every single citizen. UK doesn’t have a mandatory ID.
- dogma1138 5y agoOnly 16-17 EU member states have national mandatory ID card laws, in some it’s either a passport or a national ID card. I would bet on more people having a passport in the EU than an EU national ID card or those numbers being fairly close.
