Pta – the plain text accounting program (2020)

As a long-time Ledger user, I'm tempted to try PTA out. The journal's single-line syntax looks great, more robust to parse with Unix tools as compared to Ledger's multi-line journals. PTA's account numbering system is also similar to what is common in my country (Eastern Europe). Also, the whole thing appears to be a single Perl file, so it probably runs out of the box in every Unix system. Really neat.
