The reality is that lack of freedom is the default state of the world through history, and America was one of the few exemptions. Losing that is extremely sad, and to see political opposition locked out of the process for no good reason is chilling. It means that freedom will be lost, and with it, we will see a rise in large scale sickness and death caused by governments.
