Hi I'm the author! The zmap variable maps the grid positions of the pixels to their sequential positions. For the diagonal version I just wrote a Python script to generate a diagonal version. I haven't uploaded the Mk. II code anywhere, maybe I should! I should also make a gallery for the three people who made TV heads based on my guide.
