I'm much more excited about manufacturing gasoline using renewable energy and captured carbon. That would provide the energy density planes need while being legitimately carbon neutral.
- Ekaros 5y agoNear carbon neutral fuels look to me as reasonable solution. Specially if the production is something we could ramp up and down easily and fast with renewable supply of electricity. Ofc, efficiency isn't great, but still seems much simpler thing to solve.
