Unless I read this wrong "she" didn't get any actual interviews, just responses from sourcers/recruiters. I assume any actual engineering manager would figure out the bullshit on the first review of the resume. The only interesting conclusion from this article is that sourcers/recruiters from top tech companies are attracted to candidates from other top name companies. It doesn't speak to who actually gets hired. Obviously the top of the funnel matters, but this doesn't seem particularly scandalous.
